V.C. Mark 2 Frame System, Re-Fit Hip Belt, and Removable Lid

The Vapor Current mark 2 compression molded polypropelene frame sheet has molded reinforcement channels and die-cut holes to minimize weight, without sacrificing structural integrity. The frame works in combination with the molded foam back panel with ventilation channels and durable laminated mesh to assist in the ventilation of heat and moisture, without shifting the pack's center of gravity away from your back. The patent-pending, fully adjustable RE-FIT hip belt make achieving a custom hip belt fit easy! For added volume and organization, the Crown2 60 comes with a fully removable zippered lid, designed specifically for use on this pack.

Introducing the all-new Granite Gear Crown2 60, an ultralight yet ultra-comfortable multi-day pack. This new and improved successor to the classic Crown V.C. 60, boasts our patent-pending fully adjustable Re-Fit hip belt, our new and innovative Air-Current Mark 2 compression molded PP frame sheet with molded foam back panel, and bonus lid (removable), all while weighing in at 2.2lbs. (regular torso without lid). for ultralight loads, the frame sheet can be removed lowering the weight to 1.7lbs. The Crown 2 60L has a fixed, non-adjustable torso length that is offered in 3 torso sizes.

One of the features that separate the Crown 2 from its predecessor is the newly designed top lid compartment with DWR treated zipper. The new lid is perfect for quick access for smaller items. For a lighter load the lid is fully removable. Simply unclip the back and cinch the straps with the dual compression system to assure a firm fitting.

For longer outings the Mark 2 frame is fully removable to reduce weight. Our Crown 2 suspension system offers a molded foam back panel with mesh ventilation channels. Both materials work together to allow breathability and reduces moisture for more comfort.

RE-FIT adjustable/removable hip belt weighs 6.6ounces or 187 grams.

Similar to our Lutsen pack series, the Crown 2 has adopted our Re-Fit hip belt. This easily adjustable belt allows a fit customization to all body types.
