RolaTube - 2" Tripod Systems

Designed for heavier payloads and those that require greater stability, these tripods are light and small enough to be carried by dismounted forces as well as minimizing the volume required for vehicles carriage. As with all Rolatube products, the systems are designed to minimize the size and weight of package carried and preserves the ultra-lightweight advantage of composite masts whilst avoiding their fragility.

Quick and simple to deploy, it may be used either on uneven ground or in low undergrowth. Unlike metal or carbon composite masts, the thermal signature of BRC tripods is minimal.

The tripods are based on patented Rolatube technology. Formed from custom manufactured composite materials, the tripod legs unroll in the manner of a carpenters tape measure but, uniquely, is stable in either the coiled or extended form.

Rolatube tripods are:

3" Single Mast System Contents:

Consists of all parts required for field deployment:

• 3 x 2" diameter rolatubes with 500 denier Cordura covering of Black, Green or more specialised cloths on request.
• Tripod Head Mount with Leg Locking Screw and Spigot Locking Screw
• Leg Locking Screw
• Spigot (top load) Locking Screw
• 3 x pegs. Either pin or V shaped pegs can be supplied
• 1 x carry bag

2" Tripod System Options:

• Optional Adaptor for 3” diameter RolaTube Mast to enable Tripod to be Used to Support a higher Comms Mast without use of guys
• Leg Ties (adjustable)
• RolaCage
